Mylec and New York's Champs program put on their second street hockey clinic in a year to expose New York City school children to the game of Street Hockey.  This event was held on Saturday, March 7 and saw 150 children with their families.  The clinic was run by Mylec's Peter Walters and included drills, fundamentals and scrimmages.  Some of the kids from last years clinic participated and had noticeably improved from a year's worth of playing.  More importantly was the passion for the game that they developed in such a short time.  Fun was had by all and we look forward to working with CHAMPS on future projects.

If you school or organization is interested in starting a street hockey program, but don't know how to start, please contact Ken Cashman at Mylec - kcashman@mylec.com.  Mylec can provide assistance in getting your league started and support throughout it's development.
